About me
Hello! I'm Henry, a junior studying Computer Science and Applied Math
at the University of Southern California . I love learning things beyond their superficiality and currently, theoretical
ML research is filling that niche.
On the me side, I grew up in Salt Lake City, UT but currently live in Austin, TX. In my free time, I love being in the outdoors and taking film photos with a 70s camera I repaired myself (considered doing mech-e because of this). I'm also a huge fan of frying and most times burning food.
Research
I am broadly interested in researching the applications and algorithms behind diverse multimodal robotic agents. Currently, I am researching novel quality diversity (QD) algorithms to improve archive efficiency at ICAROS Lab where I'm fortunate to be mentored by Bryon Tjanaka. I am concurrently working on multimodal socially assistive robots with Mina Kian, another amazing mentor, at Interaction Lab.
